Bio

Spincycle is the ueber-efficient design studio of creative director Jens Mebes. He picked the name Spincycle, because he likes to spin ideas and thoughts into design that people can see and experience.

 

Based in NYC by way of Stuttgart, London, Paris, and Los Angeles, Jens has picked up a thing or three about leading and art directing commercials, broadcast identity systems, show openers, and environmental pieces, just to name a few.

 

He has garnered numerous awards and media praise for his work including the BDA/Promax Gold Award, the Art Director's Club and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. His work has been featured in Stash, Graphis Magazine, Print Magazine, Communication Arts and the Applied Arts Magazine.

 

Through Spincycle, he pulls together individualized teams and collaborates with top talent to create memorable works that are both visually stimulating and emotionally engaging. He loves NYC but also enjoys to work on creative projects around the world.
